    I want to share wonderful local experience at Smart & Final store on 7th Avenue . Being a loyal customer I have seen some good service over a years. But recently, I had great experience. Young woman at the register, not only answer all my questions, help me with a list of different produce. But actually walk me to right area and help me to make excellent selection. It was best experience ever. I felt like I am back to old San Francisco, when people used to act like that. Thank you so much for this encouraging experience. I share with all my friends and neighbors. Women's name is Amanda. Thank you so much for people in service like that. We need more caring and knowledgeable employees. Great experience, and way to go - to make San Francisco better .

    Fresh and well-displayed produce, good selection of everyday groceries in a clean and well-organized space but not as competitive on price as I expected. Dozen Eggland large cage-free eggs $5.19 Boneless skinless chicken breasts $3.87/lb (discounted from $4.49/lb) Tangerines 2# $3.99 Etc etc. Prices were about the same as Lucky and Safeway and products the same caliber in quality and selection. I was brought into Smart & Final because it was the one store I found online that had whole frozen turkey breasts (not easy to find off-season). They were $15 each, pricey at $5/lb. But, they can be pressure cooked quickly for a delicious and healthy protein-packed meal. Verdict: Good overall but prices as high as any other retail grocery store.

    if you do not have a Costco Membership & even if you do it can be worthwhile to check out Smart & Final. There are things you can count on rotating Fruit, Vegetable & Meat Sale items that will be in stock. My experience also has taught me it can be worth checking out the online circular, and if done via the mobile application you can access various special offers. For me Smart & Final is not the store where I do most of my shopping, but I do stop in at times for various items on Sale, and it's my goto for things like disposable flatware & plates, sponges, etc, and via their Daly City store beverages so that I can elude the SF Sugar Police. Nice thing about the San Francisco store, it has prompt checkouts, is reasonably well stocked, and can provide good value If you are selective in how you shop. So if you are looking for an Club Size Offerings or have a moment to check out the weekly online flyer then check out Smart & Final.
